1- She is been boring…

 

Watch out!!! Been e being são bem diferentes!!!

 

Been é referente ao past participle (a famosa terceira coluna, o particípio passado). É usado normalmente com o Present Perfect / Progressive e a Passive Voice:

 

Have you ever been to Salvador?

She has been working a lot.

 

Being é a forma progressiva do verbo TO BE (BE+ ING)

 

Assim: She is being boring…

 

 

2- It was report by our department last week.

 

Passive voice, anyone?

 

Quando alguma ação é realizada e o nosso foco é esta ação, usamos a voz passiva. Se quisermos mencionar o autor, usaremos by. Be careful com a construção desta estrutura. Veja o quadro:

Sue prepares the documents.

 

The documents are prepared by Sue.

Our department reported it last week.

 

It was reported by our department last week.

 

Jack is typing the reports.

 

The reports are being typed by Jack.

 

Susan has written the memo.

 

The memo has been written by Susan.

 

They will launch a new product.

 

A new product will be launched.

 

Mary would finish the letters.

 

The letters would be finished by Mary.

 

They could send the invitations.

 

The invitations could be sent.

 

 

 

3- I will do it if we had time…

 

OK, situação hipotética certo? Então, não podemos misturar will com esta condição no presente. Sim – é presente – mas é irreal, hipotética.

 

Assim:

 

I would do it if we had time…
